Default PF S8 rear radio antenna replacement

Hi

Can anyone recommend a replacement NS wing antenna for a 1998 PF. The OEM version has lost the flexy top half. It was once over a foot high given pics I have seen of others.
Thanks

Their number is at the top of the page

Thanks, but should have been a bit more specific. I don't want a long aerial, so looking for shorter, non OEM alternative, if anyone can recommend one.

What sort of aerial was it though?
My understanding is that the radio aerials at that age were in/around the rear screen and that the boot aerial was for the phone. At least I think that's how my PF S8 was.
I've seen earlier ones with telescopic radio aerials on the NSR wing as well.

e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)

And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

My PF has the same fixed aerial for phone and radio, I think telescopic is for PF if you do not have phone, FL that has radio aerials in rear screen and separate for phone on the wing.

Still valid question to OP if he needs fixed or telescopic.

Best to go into the boot behind the trim and check what cables it has to it.

I used to think my 1998 PF S8 wing aerial was phone and radio but when I started the process of investigating how to install a DVB-T tuner I decided it was probably only the phone.
I don't have the car now and never got totally to the bottom of the aerial setup so can't be sure either way. It had TV, GSM, FM and AM reception somehow. The only one I'm 100% sure on is the GSM aerial.

Hi. I have a fixed aerial on the NSR wing and a GSM aerial on the OSR wing. The phone has long since departed.
I believe the radio antenna was the flexible type with a mast length of about 30cm.

This is a side pic of my car.

EDIT

and the antenna:

The GPS antenna is the lump in the centre front of the boot lid.

The NSR wing antenna looks like it's for a phone (at least) so did your car once have an OEM phone kit?

So what doesn't work properly now?

That's the same what I got, one aerial for phone/GSM and radio. The one on the boot lid is for GPS. Give a shout to forum sponsors they should be able to supply you one, details at the top of page. It should just unscrew from the outside so no need to dismantle anything, but A8parts will confirm how to change it.

If it's anything like mine it's electric telescopic radio on the nsr wing which incidentally doesn't work
