RNS-E A6 vs A4
Thinking of converting my car from RNS-C to E. And i basically know the difference in the A6/A4 fascia. BUT i want to know if someone have pictures of how much the gap will be with a A4 unit. Are we talking 1-2mm pr. side or are we up on 3-4mm?

I cannot answer the a8 width but I can tell you that the a4 fascia unit is just under 3/8 th inch too narrow each side for an a6 and an 1/8 th inch too high. Hth

Would have been really nice to have a side by side comparison mounted in a D2. I dread that i will go crazy if the gap is more than 1-2mm on the A4 unit

If there are doubts -- there is no doubt. Get A6 RNS-E unit and trim it. This is what I did

I'll take a few photos and post them in here around noon tomorrow, that's 7 pm your time, with a B6 A4 unit installed. FWIW, fits nearly perfect, but I have carbon trim installed as well. I also kept the aluminum strip at bottom, but it was quite difficult to do that, lots of trimming involved.
