Default D2 on Mythbusters

This may be old news here but I just caught a split second glimpse of a green D2 spinning a NYC taxi on Mythbusters. I've tried to find the episode online but no luck.

Odd car to see being trashed so wonder what the episode was about, recreating a scene from Ronin?

Default You want a cab, not a taxi

Looks to be the episode titled 'Square Wheels | Date Night Car'? I substituted the word taxi with cab to echo our cousins across the pond's take on our language.

There's even a snapshot on the following wiki page to satisfy our lust for all things A8 D2:

That NY Taxi never stood a chance!

The Square wheels clips are hilarious, especially "Angle 3":

They should've dubbed this song over that one:

Wow. You'd think it'd make more sense to use CGI for that scene these days.

Also, I know A8's are comparatively light, but I think using a net to fish it out might be being a bit optimistic.

The car from Date Night is an R8 according to the graphics in that particular episode, but clearly they couldn't afford to destroy one of those so sadly a D2 gave its life for science instead. Shame, cos it was quite a nice one.

It gets painted with yellow bedliner in later episodes (on the grounds that bedliner is explosion-proof), and was notably used to test Hollywood-style driving through a sheet of glass. It didn't fare too well with that test either.
