Audi A8 D2 3.7 Quattro - Spares or Repair and Restore

Firstly apologies to the regular members on here, I can appreciate it's annoying when an infrequent user pops up and is trying to sell something. However, maybe someone on here may benefit from this.


Quick summary

Audi A8 D2 3.7 Quattro
Reg Y512JAE - If you want to check the MOT history
Mileage - 160,782
Its had 30k spent on it since purchase, on servicing, parts, paint and repairs!
Including a rebuilt engine (2010) and a rebuilt gearbox (2015)
More recently front shocks and springs, lower suspension arms, battery
Car is genuinely in good condition
Non-runner

£500 - Car needs to be trailered away.


Background

The car is a non runner - Aux pulley failed, also suspected fuel pump failure. The car was recovered after the aux pulley failed.

The AA guy drove it back on battery power alone, which may have killed the fuel pump. I actually had to recover the AA guy and my Dads car after he did this!

The car hasn't started since (see codes below). Before then it ran and drove really nicely. Symptoms seem similar to how the car was the last time the fuel pump failed.

This is my Dads car, he is reluctant to see the car go but he has a new car for daily use and is now having to downsize so losing his driveway space. Honestly, he is keen to see go to a good home or be used for parts to keep some other A8 on the road rather than being crushed.

I have repaired the car in the past for Dad, but I don't have the free time to commit to it to get it back on the road. As nice as it is I don't have a use for it and neither does Dad.

16686 - Cyl 2 misfire
18010 - Power supply B+ terminal 30 voltage low

Broken Aux pulley tensioner
Dead fuel pump
AC doesn't blow very cold
CAT rattle on start up
Slight leak from PS lines
Parking sensor flat lines (new sensors included)

Car would need to be collected on a trailer. Location, just outside of Weston super Mare.
