Having a go!
Well, I've been 'detailing' my house, so I thought I'd have a go at the S8...
I started with the bootlid, and have now moved on to the bonnet, with a Megs G220, 95 compound and a poorboy's cutting mop to remove the swirling, that rather spoils the look of the car. Not quite as easy as I'd initially thought (by a long way), this Audi paint certainly is tough!

Percy Vere! Do you have a finer polish about the 50 mark. Something like Menzerna Final Finish (PO 106 FA) to lift any buffer marks or holograms. It will make a perfect finish.
What wax/sealer will you use?

I'm using Megs #95 (coarse ) with poorboy's cutting mop
#83 (med) with med mop (megs & poorboy's) #80 (finishing) with finishing mop (megs or poorboy's) I've got some A/G HiDefinition wax (& pre cleaner) which worked really well on the Harley, but that's black the '8' is silver LY7M, that I'll give a try. Not yet suffering with the dreaded vibration white finger syndrome either!

You might wanna try some Collinite 845 realy brings out a bright shine on LY7M Silver Its easy as pie to apply and buff off with no residue left over and lasts months.
Meant to do my car this weekend but ended up doing my brother BMW E60 over 4 days!
