Dash issues

Hello, my S8 needs a new dash instrument cluster as it has died. Now I have a second hand dash but I have some major problems trying to get the immobiliser coded so that the vehicle will run. Audi have refused to try coding it and I have tried various tools to extract pin code with no luck. I have seen people that have swapped over the eeproms from the clusters, but no one has gone into detail of which chip etc. Does anybody have any idea's or know which chip needs to be swapped?
