ACC panel removal??
I am wanting to see whether my ACC sensor is damaged/dirty or just non-funtioning. I have tried but cannot seem to get the cover from the grill off.
Can the cover be removed without removing the entire bumper? If there is a link to a how-to that would be perfect, but I doubt I am that lucky. If anyone knows how to remove, please let me know.... ta

You might be able to get to it from the back by dropping the bottom cover off.
The under-engine cover...

I will have a look but the bumper wraps underneath by about a foot so it would need to be on a ramp for that.
I am trying to do a few jobs on the car and it is quite apparent that they like making it difficult to get to the parts without risking breaking clips or taking a shed load of other parts off the car to get to the one you want. Thanks for the speedy reply.

I doubt if it is possible to get access by removing the bottom tray, as you say it tucks under the front by around 12". I would think it is a bumper off job

If bumper is removed, ACC supposedly requires recalibrating by an Audi dealer after that.....
If your ACC wont switch on at all, maybe its faulty. If it is operational, but inaccurate and erratic, maybe it needs setting up

Hmmmm
I am getting ACC sensor blocked when I try to use it. It looks like the bumper has either been knocked or removed as one side is not fitted correctly - maybe they removed it to do the cambelt. It seems a little OTT to require a setup on bumper removal as a fair few jobs require the bumper to be removed as far as I can tell.
