Default AMI wont work..help please

ok,got an S8 D3 with 2 cd players
bought an AMI device , unplugged 1 cd player and plugged in the AMI wont show on the screen , tried it in my mates A8 already with AMI so just swapped it over and it works perfect in his car , any ideas please ?

Depends what version you're on now but sure the D3 owners will be able to advise - they can be downloaded from torrent sites or I'm sure someone can loan you a set.

Hopefully someone who knows can confirm if a firmware update is needed for your year of car to recognise AMI

think its 3360 you need as a minimum
