Default Audi A8 3.0 Tdi (D3 Aug 2008 - Facelift) Quattro Sport in Black

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at moving my Audi A8 3.0 TDi Quattro Sport on to a new owner and I'm going back to leasing brand new again, only due to is suiting my health and personal issues over an owned vehicle that has to be off the road anytime I wish to do repairs or upgrades.

The car is in Black and has the face lift D3 equipment on it so the rear LED lights that I know are highly desirable, as well as all of the other parts of the late 2008 era. the car has got 77,400 genuine miles on it, of which I have done 6,500 miles in it which were smooth, comfortable and everything that you would expect from a high end executive Audi A8 car. Although this is the standard wheel base at 5,200 mm it to be fair is still to big for the driveway that I have and ideally need something that I can get in and out without having to do a five point turn.

However there is a bad point which has kinda of forced this sale as I don't have the means to fix it myself and placing it anywhere else to fix means as a disabled person I will left without a car for a period of time, although short this has hit home that I need to get back to being a Motability customer again so that I can have lease vehicles when needed as apposed to being left stranded. The problem is simple a seized drivers bonnet catch, which I have had two people from experienced garages to look at now, and both have failed to gain access to the bonnet area or realease the failed bonnet catch. The cables on both sides out of the splitter box are both attached but it simply refuses to release. I have been told that it's a simple job for someone to either cut out the grill or the bonnet and release it, once this is done it's a case of replacing the damaged entry point and the defective catch and it's back up and running again.

My problem is the time taken to do this and what ever future jobs might or might not pop up, and this has made me realise ownership is not for me with my health conditions and long list of surgical options and personal repair program than is lined up for me.

I have placed some pictures on here for you to view the car in all of it's glory and for you to see what a beautiful car it is, but it's time to get back to what I know and pass this awesome car onto someone who has the time to tinker with this problem and collect a bargain.

Price wise I know what they are worth in excellent condition in the spec, age and in excellent working order, but mine needs a small job done to it to make it perfect again, so will except reasonable offers on it.

Regards,

Mark

Model: MY 2008 08 3.0TDI Quattro Sport, Black on Black (Transporter Edition) Lowered 60mm on drop link bars. Alloys swapped out to RS6 style 20" x 9.5". It's got full tints on all windows, and has the black leather interior. Remapped by Elite Automotive in Cornwall, giving an increase output to 290bhp/450lbs.

Options: Keyless Entry & Start, Bluetooth Hands Free, Quad Zone Climate, 3 Spoke Sports Tiptronic Multi Function Steering Wheel, Black Leather Comfort Seats, AMI, Drivers & Passenger Electric Memory Seats, Auto Dimming Mirrors, Bi-Xenons.

Future Plans:
Selling my current Audi A8 Quattro Sport and replace is with a newer D4 Audi A8L with the 4.2V8 Twin Turbo setup once again it must be black. I'm looking for one with the options added where it has the rear recliing seats, with heated outers. Bose speakers minimum and B&O's if affordable. Rear and back door sun blinds prefered.

Planned Mods:
Upon the arrival of my A8L D4, I will be once again having the ECU remapped to a performance setting over economy. Rear Tints as dark as can go whilst also tinting the front windows with a medium tint. Once again I will be purchasing lowering links for the air ride suspension and setting it at 55mm lower when in comfort as my desire rideheight over standard. Alloys will be 21" however the one current most likly to be the next car already has a brand new set of 2016 S8Plus wheels on it.
