Bluetooth Streaming Option
Hello All,
I decided it was time to add a bit of modern tech to the audio system. I wasn't happy with the OEM solution of handing over large amounts of money ($599 here for the adapter to the $800 AMI) So I thought the best way to go was aftermarket. I bought a bluetooth receiver that uses RCA and simple 12V then installed it in the rear of the car where all the MOST computers hang out. The adapter is the Fusion MS BT-100 available on Ebay for around $50 AUD posted, and the Kufatec RCA inputs for my TV module. Fitment took 15 mins, I wired the earth to use the factory point on the floor, and the power was retrieved by inserting a pin into the lowest point on the factory fuse box. I then simply connect my phone to it and change the MMI to AV1. Also, the factory Audi Bluetooth for the phone is unaffected. Thought I would share. Mike
