Bank 2 Sensor 1 O2 on the A8?
Hi,
After tentatively plugging my car into Vag-com for the first time the only error code was P1131 Bank 2 Sensor 1 Internal resistance too high. This is for a FL A8 QS 2002. Is this the "easier" of the two on the passenger side? Anyone know the part number for this one? Thanks John |

Internal resistance too high probably refers to heater element in lambda sensor. This means that heater element is not working and it takes longer for it to heat up and start working but it is still working. So no need to change it in hurry unless you mostly do very short trips.
Part number is 077 906 265 J for V8 06A 906 262 BF for V6 Not sure if it is the "easier" one, on PF it is pretty much about the same

I had mine done lastyear, it was straight forward job.I should have replaced both banks, at the same time.(now the other bank is throwing up the error code). If I remember correctly it was underneath the car near the cat on passenger side.

Hi Guys,
Cheers for the info. They are all over ~100k now so about due for changing. May aswell get them done and then it's more pennies for the right foot as opposed to an old sensor! Cheers John |
