Default Towbar fitting

How did all.

I have an OEM towbar, swan neck and generic electric kit. I'm not too hot with electrics, but I've got help on hand.

I've read something about a worm gear, is that something I need to be aware of?

And how do I get hold of a wiring diagram?

Thanks in advance.

Hi John. Are you connecting the electrics to module J345 Trailer detector control unit?

Hi Matt. Is that installed on the car already? If not, no. Using a bypass relay. Not ideal, but needs must. The mechanical install is my area, the electrical side will be the brother in laws!

I'm not sure if that module was standard equipment. It's located under the battery... (of all places!) Having said that it's probably easier to wire in a generic system.

The wiring can be found in Del's D3 Tech Dump, item 2 Current flow
