Very quick Steve
All I remember is that it was three cylinder with a flywheel magneto for ignition. Rather a strange beast but sweet when running. I never owned it just helped the owner to keep it going. For styling think Wartburg.

He loved his - a 3 cylinder two-stroke, I think, and fast with it, which he brought back to Glasgow from Germany when he'd finished his tour out there. Not sure what happened to it though - I should have asked him.

Correct Steve, two stroke and very nippy.
If I am correct that was in 1959 for me. We also played with a Merc 170V that another senior rank had.
