Default Top Gear 2.0 - without the wa**kers (sorry, banters...)

I'm greatly enjoying the first of Paul Hollywood's continental road trip programmes - starting in Italy, of course.... Though the bottle of Vino Rosso and 2 venison steaks may be contributing to my enjoyment of it

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08svmdc

If the rest of the programmes in this series are as good as this, then Auntie Beeb may have finally exorcised Clarkson and Co for good. Here's hoping...

Great show, and like you as a fan of Italian cars that was a superb episode, and that Miura..god they were things of beauty..not convinced about Hollywood, though he did grow on me a bit towards the end. Still think any of the TG past or present, even James May, would have been better

I quite enjoyed the show he did on Aston Martin a couple of years ago - his style for this sort of show needed a bit of polish, so will give this a watch

That Miura

Quite an endearing show I thought. I'll definitely be watching the rest of the series

There was an absolutely gorgeous one on the holyhead-dublin ferry a couple of weeks back. Stunning car, just needed a couple of tin pot republic flags on the wings to complete the dictator look!

Me want!!!

Just watched the French one... I want a DS now as well.., really enjoyed this, and Hollywood did a great job, even though I was a bit cynical at the start

The DS is one of my all time favourite cars. Always loved the SM too, with its Maserati V6 engine.

Haven't watched this show yet. Might have to download it and give it a try!

I would like to apologize to the planet, on behalf of Americans, for the new fat Stig. My god, I can barely stand to watch him insult everything while touting the benefits of Nayuhs-Kore and its idiotig fans, like cats watching a ping-pong game, but waiting for a"Good Crash".

We are not all quite that stupid. Most, yes, but not all.

I don't even know which version of the show you're discussing, but since the words "Top Gear" and "****er" were in the title, I had formed my reply already.

-Tom

PS Vote Sabine Schmidt for Stig!
