Remember the wiring to the standard RNS includes the reversing lights circuit, so it's just a matter of finding it.
I think it's labelled something like RFSL on most wiring diagrams. Brown wire IIRC.

I got the reverse cam to work, in the settings you can even select how much volume is being turned down while reversing like in 'modern' cars.

Not sure if something like this might help:
https://catalog.pac-audio.com/catalo...lty-items/tr-4

Or you could build something from scratch.
I'd probably start by building something to 'sense' audio -- a simple Darlington Pair circuit might be sufficient, driving an LED so that you can visually check and adjust the sensitivity. Then you just need to use that to control a relay circuit, one with a delayed/adjustable on-delay.
I've made a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJxg...=youtu.be&t=15) of the popping issue that I'm having and sent it to support people from Icebox audio. I'll have to see what they reply with.

In worst case I was thinking of getting this: https://catalog.pac-audio.com/catalo...-triggers/tr12 to provide the delay on/off for the amp and also use it for auto folding mirrors. It's good to have it all in one programmable box.

If anyone is still following this thread I bought this adapter:
https://www.connects2.co.uk/Product/...Item/CT51-AU01

It's made specirfically for Audi with BOSE systems and has a built in delay for the bose amplifier to prevent all the pops. It will work with most aftermarket head units.

Once it arrives I will install it and report. If it works I will do a demo video for all the users on the forum.

Indeed, good find

I wonder if that's just designed to prevent power on/off pops though? The issue you appear to have, judging by the video you posted, is popping caused by the unit muting the amplifier at the minimum volume level. You might need a more sophisticated solution if that's the problem, something that can pre-empt or detect the amp muting.

I'll try and tackle this step by step. If the above loom at least stops is from popping during startup/shutdown I can then move on to the popping while muting, maybe use a ground loop isolator or something.

I have sent the video of this to people at Icebox Audio who I bought this from, and they passed this on to their china factory contact so I'm curious to see their feedback, but with current virus situation it may take months.

I'll post an update once I know something.

BTW I'm still following this thread too.

Am I the only one here who is desperate for you to pull that screen protector off so that I can see what the reflectiveness of the screen is like? Or is everyone just too polite to mention it?
