Anyone any idea of the lubrication points in the sunroof? I wound it back today and the rear of the panel was sticking and dropped with quite the thud. After assisting it and giving it a few cycles it’s working better but it needs some grease to make sure it keeps zipping fore and aft.

The service manual doesn't mention any specific points, I went over the sliders with a lightium grease spray with a long nozzle, so you can get it in all the way
![]() I also tend to cycle the sun roof at least once a month, and that helps more than lubricating it becaise it stops it from clunking like you said. |

Interesting, I have the exact opposite philosophy, I wonder how prevalent it is: I don't need my (solar panel) sunroof open, so it stays shut. I have never, ever operated it since acquiring the car.

My first car was a daewoo matiz, i didn't use the rear doors in it for about 6 months, and when my brother tried to open one of them, the whole roof part of the door seal tore because it was just stuck to it ![]() |
