Glow plugs testing on VCDS?
My daughter has just bought a diesel Q3 and the engine management warning light came on a couple of days after she’d got it. Her local garage diagnosed faulty glow plugs.
I wondered if it was possible to turn the plugs on via VCDS to see if that might burn off any gubbins. But I had a play this morning and couldn’t find a way to do that. And now it’s pi**ing with rain and we’re going to the pub for Sunday lunch, so I’ve given up for now!

Well if it's faulty, it's faulty. It's the same like if your kettle does not boil water, you cannot turn it up to burn off limescale.
Only thing you can do is measure resistance, it should be very low like 1ohm or less, basically almost short circuit, if it's open circuit it's faulty and need to be replaced.
