Differences between 32 valve S8 and A8 intake manifolds

I know the ABZ in the A8 has a 3 position changeover in the intake and the S8 motors only have 2 positions, but, is the intake physically different? Or can the changeover portion simply be swapped out?

All 32V manifolds are 2 positionin A8 and S8, 40v are 3 position. But A8 and S8 are different anyway even if both are 2 stage.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I have an AUX 40v and an ABZ 32v on stands in my shop, must have confused them...

Hi There,

Are all the 40v S8 manifolds the same....I have a dead S8 AVP with LPG on it and considering finding a new car to transfer it over and a manifold swap would be the (relativly) simple way.
