Where's the aerial?
I'll try and make this the last 'new S8 owner asking a bleeding-obvious question'...
I've seen pictures of various S8's with an aerial mounted on the nearside rear wing. The one I've recently purchased doesn't appear to have an external aerial, only the sat-nav box on the boot lid. Does this mean anything in particular? It's a mid 2002 model, not a Final Edition. |

Means it doesn't have the mobile phone prep built in.. So no great loss

I think the various antenna for radio/tv etc reside around the c pillars - pretty sure the rns-e install guide IT did includes pics of the locations

Ah, mobile phone aerial. You're right, I can happily live without that.
The reason for even mentioning it was that the radio mast was in the same place on my '99 Cabrio. |

It was there on the PF '8s, but was put into the rear window (I think) in the FL.
