Guy, in direct and very literal response to your post yesterday, I have removed Prestige & Performance Limited from the attendance list as it was implied anyone with an opinion was empowered to do so.

Choice of chariot....
So the D4 is up for sale, which sees it ideally resting up on the driveway this weekend not clocking up miles.....
I don't see any sense in bringing the Q7, being the most expensive to run by far (and that's just in tyres....  )Which leaves me with my TT or D2 to bring.... The D2 is still very much behind the curve in terms of presentation, although I suspect mechanically it will possibly make it to Wales, and maybe even back again..... The wife has made it reasonably clear that travelling in the D2 is bottom of her preference list. I can't please everyone.... Help....

Bring the D2! There's fewer and fewer of them around so you have to.

Aftermarket DVB-T, reversing camera and full XCarlink (Bluetooth etc.). 2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!  Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course.  (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
