On the subject of ISOFIX. How can I install it in the PF A8 I have? I have seen the brackets on sale at A8 Parts which I will buy, will it just screw in or do I need to drill/weld them in!?

So back to my original question...
... is the rear legroom on a SWB D3 markedly better than a SWB D2?
Or am I stuck with having to get a LWB D3 (W12....no real hardship...) to get enough legroom to prevent my children's legs being wedged up against the back of my seat...? FYI, I'm 6'5". Zip

Id go along to an Audi garage and have a check... I never had any problems, but my seat position could be very different.
Or go with different child seats, some do push their legs up so they have less room.
