So many broken knobs. I've not had a problem with mine (yet). Is it an age thing?
 Looking at the 3D printed versions, I wonder if dipping them in Plasti-Dip might be a quick way to improve the finish and give them a more rubberised, tactile feel? I suspect it might be necessary to print them slightly undersized however, to allow for the paint thickness.
