Looking for ideas on the last one
So, I have just one left to identify.
I'm told that the book was signed at Millbrook by a group of racing drivers who were (mostly) assigned to "chauffeur" guests around the track at the UK A8 launch which would have been some time in 1994 I guess. Does anyone have any contacts that might produce a list of the drivers and maybe non-driving motor racing guests? Here's the unidentified autograph on its own:

Wee story with him.. First driver to win Le Mans for Porsche, owns an A8 (or at least did about 2 years ago). He was my instructor on a Porsche day at Silverstone.

I think it does add to the value IMHO. This now has real 'provenance' as the antique & collectors folk would call it as being a gift at the launch event, rather than just another copy of the book (which mine is
 ). If you could research the launch event and find confirmation of dates, venue and attendees, that would make it even better.I asked myself, if I were to be buying a copy of this book, would I pay more for the autographed version? Yes, I definitely would!

The guy I bought it from was I think working for Audi (or a big dealer) in business sales at the time and was obviously there promoting the car to his clients.
He had no recollection of who signed it (or the date), so I guess isn't a racing driver fan. Not sure why he's selling it either, not the sort of thing you ask on eBay. Wonder if it's worth asking him (very politely) for some sort of letter authenticating its origin? He's been friendly enough in eBay messages when I told him what I found out.

Might also be worth asking for a contact in the PR/marketing function. There must have been invitations, programmes, press releases, etc that might also be in an archive that would support the 'provenance'. Make it a mini project - it'll be interesting even if it's not adding huge amonts of value, but I think you could dress this up to be a totally unique product.
