You are not wrong. Still have a soft spot for old Fords, though. I would love a mint, standard 1983 Caspian Blue XR3i.

Mine's an oddly short list for me - I've owned other cars with my dad but they weren't regularly used by me so have left them off the list.

Passed test aged 17 in 1991

1987 Nissan Micra 1.0L – parents car but they never saw the keys after I passed my test!
1967 Ford Cortina Mk2 1300 Deluxe 4 door - first car I found and paid for! Later donated to my parents to drive
1969 Ford Cortina Mk2 2 door with varying power - saw me through Uni
1970 Sunbeam Imp Sport with 930cc engine - project
1981 VW Golf GTI 1.6 - shed
1984 VW Passat GL5 hatchback – first car with power steering and electric windows!!
Sold the previous 4 cars which were all hanging about still to buy:
1992 Citroen BX 16Valve - almost reliable
1993 Citroen ZX 1.8 Furio 3 door - superb buy and cost buttons to run
1999 Citroen Xsara 2.0 16V VTS Coupe - properly quick in its day
2005 Seat Leon Cupra R 225 – only new car we’ve ever owned and regret selling it to this day
1998 VW Passat 1.8T Sport estate with tiptronic auto – bought to save the Leon’s wheels from kerbing and for house DIY duties!
2004 Audi A6 3.0 quattro Sport Avant – still got
2002 Audi S8 4.2 Final Edition – still got

Asked Mrs Cozza about the engine size on the Passat V6, and she said it was a 2.8 V6

The reason I asked her is because she mostly drove it

2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions, ski hatch retrofit; extended leather. Aftermarket DVB-T, reversing camera and full XCarlink (Bluetooth etc.).
2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!
Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

This is Mrs Cozza's [Anna's] list [just asked her now] :

1. 1982 VW Polo 1.3 "X"
2. 1989 Vauxhall Nova 1.0 "F"
3. 1992 Renault Clio 1.1 "J" [she had this when we met in early 1994 and when we got married in summer 1998]
4. 1994 Audi 80 1.9 TDi "M"
5. 2002 Ford Mondeo Estate 2.0TD "02"
6. 2004 Škoda Octavia Estate 1.9 TDi "04" [Her current car]

She's 42 [born February 12, 1970] and passed her test in 1991, whilst I passed mine in 1986 =)

She does a lot of miles, as she works as Head of English at a school and also as a pharmacist at ASDA [during weekends] =D

I also drove my parent's [Ian, sadly dead since early 2005, and Erin (69 and still active )] 1979 "T" Cortina 2.3 and 1984 "B" Escort 1.6 [Erin's car, whilst Ian had Mazda ] whilst learning to drive in late 1985

Erin currently has a 2011 "11" Fiesta 1.4 TDCi =)
She bought it brand new in June last year, replacing her 2003 "03" Corsa 1.4
