Nothing quick on these being remapped mate but yes of course!!

If you can get me a VAGCOM scan of the Engine module first that will be ideal.

Guys,

I was just about to order the kit from TPS, but the chap mentioned that this is for cars from 2006 onwards. My car is a sinlgle frame car (MY 2006), but a July 2005 build. I am pretty sure this will work, but can anyone confirm before I pull the trigger? Being a special order item, they will not take it back...

Definitely work. Mine is a 2003

The only 'issue' may be that the right hand side of the glovebox is too short for it in earlier models, you either put up with it being slighly proud, or do what I (and many others did) and swap the CD changer for it, takes all of 2 minutes.

Gents,

Many thanks. I will place the order tomorrow morning!

My MMI tells me the following re SW version: D3 HU 21.2.00534

Can I buy a update disc that will take me to the correct verion for AMI? If so, i will order that at the same time.

Cheers.

You can buy the disks, should be less than a tenner, or may be someone local with a 5570 set.

Or *cough* internet *cough*

Ask them for:
4E0057785F - Audi Music Interface (Retrofit) - £140 + VAT
4F0051510L - iPod to AMI Cable - £24 + VAT or cheap Ebay chinese cable

That's all you need to swap your CD changer for AMI.

4D0051530 - Removal Keys - £3.50 + VAT if you want to be posh

4F0051592A - Retrofit kit with power and fibre cable to have CD changer and iPod - £33 + VAT

4E0972645 - Fibre Optic Bridge - £5+ VAT needed if you want to split the CD Changer fibre optic.

Personally just replace CD changer, it's pants anyway compared to AMI.

So AMI can be fitted brand new for £196.80 in less than 5 mins.... Bargain.

Only for D3 owners guys and girls sorry....
Can anybody tell me if these prices are still the same as i think its about time i got me one of these things

Well not if you're me mate, just rang my local TPS and got prices, he did say not something they keep and he'd have to order it all in.

4E0057785F £256.41 £283.33
4F0051510L £24.89 £27.50
4F0051592A £67.87 £75
4E0972645 £5.84 £6.12

All plus VAT first price is trade second is retail. Not a lot in it.

I'd be very interested to hear if those other prices were just an offer at time.
