Um... I have 8 toy cars
I bought them from my cousin when he needed money. Perhaps he will one day wish he still had them. Or I'll give them as presents if he has kids of his own one day.
... Here, did you know... This belonged to your father when he was a kid

Going off topic a bit aren't we? But I do have one of these:
__________________
2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions, ski hatch retrofit; extended leather. Aftermarket DVB-T, reversing camera and full XCarlink (Bluetooth etc.).
2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!
Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Whatever it's for, you can make it look a lot better by using a PF A8 rocker swith, which fits perfectly. I have one there, originally to turn the TV in motion on/off, but now to turn the reversing camera on/off.

Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).

I think that was probably my last addition to the collection in fact, and the only one I still play with

haha, glad I'm not the only one. I probably have a hundred or so. I actually have one or two in my collection that were my Dad's. They're very old but well played with, so not in great condition. One of them is so old it was made under the Lesney brand, pre-dating Matchbox.

Hi Neil

I was going to suggest that you ask the seller what it was for, but if you bought the car from Scott then he didn't even know how to turn the mirrors inwards so I don't think you'd get too far with that one.

Same as I did probably; the cap of a rear blind switch over the body of a latching switch (flashers IIRC) is what I used.
Almost all of them are just a simple "closed while pressed" to send a signal to a controller/relay somewhere.
