Default Good god, it's the north

Well here I am, North of Watford again. 4hrs in an A8 was a peice of **** but then I emerged into the wastelands...

It's cold

and wet, like a dead sheeps arse.

The car is filthy but locked up in gated and secure parking "if you'll just give me the keys the porter will drive it round for you"

I think F***ing not.

Food here is excellent. Waitress a bushpig which cheered SWMBO as I didn't lech, for which I have a valid permit I might add.

Tuesday is shopping in York, weds is unknown but an escape may be allowed so what are you Northern monkeys up to? I'll buy you a shandy as we all know you're poofs etc.

Can PM mobile number for ease of comms. Will check PMs in the morning if anyones about.

Bill (typing on the crapper, and clenchhhhh)

York isn't really north thy knows. It's not until you meet someone who knows what trouble up t'mill is that you're really north (anyone claim to know the answer?).

And then there's the bit that just says 'here be dragons' on your map and men run around in skirts hunting unsuspecting haggis. It snowed here all day yesterday and you'd need a translator!

A 'Bushpig' is similar to a 'Swamp Donkey' - it's a really, really ugly woman which would require a lot of ale to drink her up to an acceptable level, the danger is this may not happen - money wasted for nowt!

Money wasted for nowt. There's a Yorkshire sentiment
I guess you could always improve your odds by getting a few down her, so to speak
