Looks great.
Did you remove any of the rubber ribber seals? I had a look at my car after seeing your first post and from what I can remember I thought the rubber trim along the bottom actually went on top of the metal plate? Did you just cover everything and paint whatever you could of the plate? Rather than every last mm of it? |

Cheers.
The rubber near the glass can be pulled back if you wind the window down. Around the other 2 sides it can be moved but not easily so I just masked it as best bit I would say that 95% of the metal was on show - 5% was below the seal so not accessible but looked to be in good nick so all good. Good luck if you do do it

Out of curiosity I called at my local dealer last week with regards to these to try my luck for warranty and they said they are a trim and only covered for 3 years, unlike the rest of the car.

Sorry to necro an old thread, but I have the exact same thing happening on my car. Very annoying! Anyway, I was thinking about seeing if the panels could be vinyl wrapped, as an alternative to painting. Any thoughts?
