Is the 3000 not enough to remove any blemishes? Reason I ask is the more different grades you use the more you run the risk of going through the lacquer and causing damage.

Also where do you get the 3000 grade from?

I only used them very gently as 3000 grit takes forever (obviously wet with copious washing up liquid in the water!)

obtained from a seller called ..... motorwayshop on a certain auction site... HTH
