I like the S5. Its a great compromise between performance / economy / convertible / practical / fun / sensible / tech It doesn't excel at anything particularly, but it does most of everything I want better than most  I appreciate the suggestion though....

I'm going to say a 2013 D4. 3.0tdi ..
My reason is Drive select is only available from 2012 in D4 .and the 2013 had full adaptive lights before the Auto matrix came out in 2014.. Reason for 3.0 Tdi is the 4.2 Tdi still hold there value .. So I'm going to say 2013 D4 with arround 80+k on the clock for arround the 20k Mark. . Thus freeing up 10-15k from the rs6 ... ???

Equally 7/8 year old D3 4.2 TDI is sub 10k. Can't see D4s depreciating from current £18k+ to sub £10k in a years time. Or maybe they will after the D5 comes to market?
