Default Wipers going cucu

So annoying, once at first setting they just go bazookas
When rains they seem not to recognise I cannot see a thing!!!
When I move the sensor near rear mirror they start to work for a bit, then mind on their own
I counted breaks between sequence 3s sometimes 15s
I've got a replecement sensor - is it hard to change it?
Probably thats why my auto lights are on all the time...same sensor right?

Might help if you post this in the D3 section as I don't think any of the D2s had such magic!

I was thinking the same thing, never heard of a D2 with a sensor.
Incidentally D2 wipers can go crazy too. If improperly tightened the speed settings go crazy and develop ultra slow mode of a wipe every 60 seconds or something, but weirdly faster settings still work?
I would have thought slipping on the spined washer would cause wipers not to work at all, but simply tightening made it work again. Weird or what??
