Default Parking Sensors

Guys,

I've 2 faulty sensors on the car. One front and one rear.

Is there a procedure anywhere to replace these? I've done a quick search but can't find anything.

I may as well change them at the weekend as I can't make ADI.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Steve

Silly question but how do you know they are faulty - vagcom or something?

I think it's a bumper off job to do them.

Bumper's pretty easy to take off, some screws in the sheel well to undo it from the liner and two big bolts that hold it to the impact pistons, then it just pulls off (be careful not to drop it and scratch it.

Unless someone knows a better method

Vagcom will tell you there is a fault and also which sensors are faulty. I've also got a constant tone and not a bleeping sound when I put the car in reverse.
