Default Sabine at 'The Ring'

https://youtu.be/qnJOC_dDXzM

She knows how to shut the door, I counted at least 3 overtakes where the other driver must have stamped on their brakes to avoid hitting her!

We all know she is a terrific driver but she does seem to be passing everyone with relative ease, or is it just me? I suppose she does know the track very well.

Anyway it's a great watch.

Note to editors*

Typing 'Sabine at the ring' into Google does produce non Motorsport related articles!

Her balls are absolutely huge and she has done nothing wrong.

There is a simple rule across the racing fields.
When you overtake someone you are entitled to the racing line and shut the door as long you don't force the other driver off track and because all drivers are aware of it you will find most of them will lift off for a second instead of slamming the brakes.

Having been round the 'Ring several times, I can confirm that:

(1) It's complicated, long and difficult to navigate - so knowing it inside out really would pay off

(2) The great majority of drivers on it really don't know it, so if you do, it's pretty easy to pass loads of others - provided you know it well.

Notice that the top of the windscreen sports a "Driving Simulator" sticker.

As someone posted in comments to this movie.

Big deal. She's in a Class SP9 GT3-R on intermediates, overtaking mostly SP7 or even SP6 cars (Cup cars, GT4s and the likes) - and all of them on slicks on a moist track. Why do you think the video ends there? Because once she was past that group there was little progress towards the front runners, also on intermediates. She's good for sure, but far from that spectacular on equal terms. And no, this is not a gender issue, it's a "cheeky beyond belief PR" issue!

That will be an advert, no doubt, for the Playstation game 'Gran Turismo - the real driving simulator'. Love that lap by Sabine, and I've watched it a few times now.
