Default Cant enable hidden green menu

I have just tried via VCDS to enable the green menu

I went into VCDS
selected module 7 head unit
then selected adaptation 10
then selected channel 8 and read values

Then I get an error "channel 8 not available"

Am I doing something wrong?

My car is an 2004 A8 4.0 Diesel.

Many thanks

I just re-uploaded the pictures. The last ones weren't clear.

What do you mean by "whats the coding on you [07] module?"

Cheers

when you do a scan with vcds you get an output for each module

such as this
Address 07: Control Head Labels: 4E0-910-7xx-07.lbl
Part No SW: 4E0 910 769 Q HW: 4E0 035 729 A
Component: Interfacebox H43 5570
Revision: 00000000 Serial number: 300GL047537256
Coding: 0000002
Shop #: WSC 02313 785 00200
VCID: 3A7EB5AE7544B83

Part No: 4E0 910 609 A
Component: Bedienteil MMI H42 0020

No fault code found.

note the coding is 000002

these are options that can be changed, for each model depending on what equipment you have installed

its probably not this one that has the av imputs though check out also the tuner coding.
i have had a quick look through the green menu and cant see anything obvious.
