The young don't/didn't vote. Only 1/3 did from initial reports. If the turnout was, say 70%, we'll be looking at a different result.

On the other subject, Nick, below is a list of referendums where the majority have not been carried forward except for two occasions.

I noticed that I had left out not in front of carried and corrected it but somehow you seem to have the uncorrected version matty
