If you're going to have a 4x4, have one, don't mess around with the pretend stuff that'll get stuck as soon as you touch one wheel on wet grass with a horse box on the back. You'll end up asking someone with a Rangie to pull you out
You'll only end up wanting more space anyway plus if you box clever you can have somewhere for over nighters.

Damn I forgot about those. Yes definitely get a Unimog, that's the grand moggie of all offroaders

There's even a 4-door version

It's not a Unimog, It's a DAF. Unimog's are awesome buuuut they are very expensive, unless you opt for one as old as your photo, but then it's old and very agri, awkward to drive, noisy and hot, they are basically a fast tractor even have a PTO.
