Cleaned the car the other night, took some pics, went out today and took some more pics.
I need to give it a proper clean and polish soon.        Electric rear blinds, I like them a lot.  Never knew I had these, what they are called or if they standard.

Thats the ambient lighting, its an optional extra and controlled in the MMI menu where you'll find a number of different settings.

Just need to get that door working then I'm happy.

Towbar
With regard the towbar, westfalia is the OEM manufacturer so it is an Audi one.
There is a wheel storage thing for the towbar with the part numbers here http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/showpost....99&postcount=8 It cost me about £17 if I remember correctly and does use a different wheel retaining bolt so thats the easiest way to tell if it was factory fitted. Door sensors will need a new handle which is likely to be difficult to source second hand with the exterior lighting pack

Not really done anything with the 8 recently apart from the odd drive, fill up with fuel and clean.
I need to remove my old A4 and the old 206, then I can get the 8 booked in to Audi for some work and a local gearbox specialist for a gear service. But I did lower it a bit via VCDS.
