Michelin Pilot Super Sport are just shy of £258 delivered on Blackcircles web site, so something less than that

And just shy of £222 delivered at Camskill's. Depending on how long you've had them, my guess is they'd be worth under £200 delivered. Are they Super Sports/SP2/ Sports?

And P zeros at £206 delivered at Camskill. Now that's tempting. Just need to check my local tyre fitters for a fitting cost

Not tested yet, but i would anyway recommend the Nokian Z G2. I ordered a set for my brother in law and he loves them. He has been running Michelin/Dunlops earlier and rate the Nokians higher

It has tested very good towards the other top brands and the price is much lower.

And since Nokian has made the best wintertires for ages i absolutely belive they make just as good summertires.

Not come across these at all, and there are only 2 UK dealers- the nearest in Dumfries!

Vredestein Ultracs seem to get good reviews and are quite inexpensive - any experience here?

One aspect that I think is never covered adequately in tyre specifications is what weather conditions they are designed for, with the partial exception of "winter" tyres.
And design is not just tread pattern but equally (more importantly?) the compound.

Compounds for British "summer" use would vary between different parts of the country, but would normally be in a fairly narrow ambient temperature range, rarely over 25C or below 0C for example.
A "summer" tyre in Greece would regularly experience temperatures approaching 40C and road surfaces that are very different.

That's just one reason why I have my doubts about tyres imported from, for example, Indonesia.

2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!
Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Got these on the front, older PS2s on the back. Very pleased with them - very good in the wet. I'll be replacing the rears with the same soon. Amar has used them in the past as well, and thinks highly of them. Nice and quiet, good wear. Tread pattern looks a bit daft if I'm honest though...all a bit "Saxo VTS"...

The very latest Vredestein performance tyres got a bit of a roasting in the latest EVO tyre review though...

Problem is how old exactly? Tyre compounds start to go off with age fitted or not, now Michelin’s being one of the most expensive out there i would want cheap as there is no guarantee that it is new or if they are fakes, most people looking for Michelin know they’re expensive and willing to pay for them then why risk it? They’ll just buy new.

All tyres imported into this country legally have to comply with vigour’s testing to be sold here.

Compounds won’t change that much within Europe and all tyres bought here legally will be euro type approved.

Load indexes and speed rating rarely seem to worry anyone as long as the tyre is of a premium brand and I find this oddm as cheeper brands seem to cause a worry
