Default abs problem

Hi does anyone ever had this fault before on there d3 we havent been using the car and the battery was well down giving a message on the dash low battery warning and now there is a problem with the abs pump its saying abs controller defective with a warning light on the clocks.

There are a lot of D3 with controller faulty error including mine but it still works fine and no warning light.

Warning light after flat battery is usually because of lost steering wheel angle calibration, you go for a short drive and light turnd off.

I've had it and it did stem from a bad battery. VCDS still shows it as defective but there are no lights and no faults. I even had it sent off and there is nothing wrong with it.
