Default 4E Heated Seat Retrofit

Hello All,

I am a long time Audi owner and have had over 5 of them my previous A6 Le Mans Edition had Electric Heated Seats but no Power Adjustment.

However My A8 4E was fitted with Power Adjustment with memory but no heated seat function.

What would i require to fit this?

New Seats and a New Climate Display possibly or whole new wiring loom?

Thanks In Advance,

Matt

The D3's wiring loom's were built according to spec of the car so its likely that you will need to do some wiring but not 100% sure so check out the tech dump folder for wiring diagrams in D3 common faults section.

If you did do it you would need a new climate module and that is a component with component protection so would require a trip to dealer to have it removed.

Not all dealers like removing component protection from secondhand parts so ask your dealer before you proceed further.

Also receipts should be kept to prove where the parts came from should you run into issues with stolen parts.

Document 2 on here...

Shows the wiring diagrams for heated seats in various ways if you search within the PDF for "heated".
