Default Question to anyone who used Audi Tradition

What were your delivery times?

I bought 2 items with value of 80 eur from them 4 days ago and I only received an order confirmation email, no tracking details or means of tracking the order.

I've emailed them and received no response...

Amazed you manged to place an order at all! The only way I've managed is to use a "supplier" in Germany who gets it from them then adds a handling charge and shipping to UK charge. Wasn't unreasonable and it worked.

2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!
Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Likewise. I tend to order stuff via a friend who works at Ingolstadt. I gave up trying to order from them directly as I could never make the online store work.

Last time I ordered from audi tradition was July. Smooth transaction, received confirmation email and parts turned up 7 days later.

I've ordered from them at least 5 times over the last 2 years and have never been able to place an order directly. I try every time hoping that they drag themselves into the 21st century and start accepting direct orders.

I have been in contact with them a couple of times and they simply tell me to go through the Audi main dealer network.

It gets expensive doing that though, part price + 15% handling fees + delivery + vat. Even though there site says incl vat, I always seem to pay vat twice.

I only use them if I absolutely have no other options.

Update:

I found DHL tracking information from Audi Tradition and the parcel is on its way to me, it just went to my spam folder.
So it looks like it's really happening!

Last time I used AT, I bought as part of a group buy (one consolidated package) through a German resident and then redistributed the other individual's items in the UK. The whole process only occupied about 7 working days.

Its worth noting the forum sponsors have many sources of new and older parts, including tradition.

If you're struggling direct, give them a shout
