Default Mirrors keep folding

I have a new issue on the A8.. as soon as i start the car or turn ignition on the mirrors start to fold and it doesn't stop until I remove the fuse..

Would this be a wiring issue or more of a replacement module job?

VCDS scan doesn't show any problems

My initial thought would be a dodgy switch, so take out the drivers door switch panel, disconnect that circuit and observe.

I've done it several times but forgotten exactly how, I think you have to lever off the door handle shell from below first. Maybe some screws/bolts too?

"I defer to my learned friend". Also a lot easier to get at and replace.
