Have a look at ADI from 2012 there was a nice red PF D2 with sport alloys ,don't remember the engine size or the owners name (my bad, sorry) it was the year I managed to get a full set of wheel centres from Neil in exchange for USB sticks.

Not saying yours isn't a final but post some pictures and be prepared to take and battering. The red leather does look really nice and would look cool in a red 8 for sure but are like rocking horse excrement.

Your car may well have Final Edition 20" wheels on but the "final edition" cars were all S8's as far as I know.

Late 2.8s with 20s turn up often enough on ebay to make me think they were factory-built. There are two different types of front hubs for 20s too, one for Brembos and one for stock brakes I think. It'd be interesting to have a look at the option sticker for one to see if 20s are listed.

Not sure if that was just an option pack, or whether that makes them an FE though.

BigT5 - you can attach photos to a post (using the paperclip icon in the advanced editor) if you don't have anywhere to host them. I'd love to see a Tornado Red D2. Its a very odd colour to paint one since it was well phased out of the rest of the VAG range by facelift D2 time. I would not be at all surprised if it is unique I wonder if whoever ordered it had fond memories of a mk1/2 Golf or Polo in that colour?

My first '8 was a late 2.8 with FE 20" wheels - and they were listed on the build sticker. And, at the time, I thought it was an FE car - but I know better now!

Interesting. Misano looks very much like Tornado in that pic. The first one looks like Flash Red, but it could be the camera.
