I've a 6 yo grandkid who is very good on the spanners already, well, taking stuff to bits - we are still working on the put it back together side!

Dear All,

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the 'engine out to replace a bulb' design is a bit daft.

So far I have got as far as un-doing the torx screws covering the front half of the wheel arch. However, there are 2 press-stud type fittings that seem to be once-only items. Has anyone got any experience of removing and re-fitting these. So far I'm a bit reluctant as my car is still to shiny for me to wreck!

To those who have dislocated wrists in order to reach the lamp, i'm impressed!

they are push out fittings, if you don't lose the centre pins, they can be reused.
