Log onto your suspension controller.

My suspect would be there is a faulty ride height sensor. On VCDS you can see the height of all 4 corners. Check this first.

Sensor is around £120.

Nothing wrong with your headlights I bet. It requires a signal from the suspension to tell it the ride height.

I don't no if this is relevant or maybe helpful to somebody else. Mine displays the message 'Headlamp Range Inoperative' in Yellow in the DIS display on start up, but Its because I asked my dealer to set the lights to "Touring Mode" for my trips to Europe. It just dips them slightly so you don't dazzle oncoming cars.
