Default New Build - Pub

It was raining so I decided that the pub interior decorating could be finished.
Taken a couple of days but I have managed to finish the two major areas.
Here are four photos of my handiwork.
First is the restaurant with silver service laid tables.
Second and third are the bar/lounge area through the two front windows.
Fourth is the complete building frontage.
I've not managed to get the pumps working yet

Nice detail work! What scale?
Forgive me if this is covered elsewhere Ray, but is your hobby buildings, or a model railway or something?

Replacement head coming arrived thanks to MJ
Silver with Black interior. All features as the '01, with the 'S' mode auto shifter. Dodgey rear tint (need to find a way to get rid of that).

Didn't you know? Ray's a 'Borrower'. It's a life-size pub to him.

I love the banter, it's the one thing I miss from my Army days.
I think that Gwen has decided on The Black Horse.
It's in 00 guage (4mm/ft).
Over the years I've built a few railway layouts but nothing at the moment. No room at the Inn. When the kids move out to their own digs I'll have space for an office and my modelling.
All I'm doing at the moment is building a few terraced houses, corner shop and the pub. I'm building up to an end of tram line terminus. A street of terraces up to a crossroad with traffic lights. The buildings have lights in each room, individually controlled.
In my layout days I used to scratch build the track and points.
I am very lucky because Gwen lets me do what I want and even goes with me (when fit enough) to ride on trains. Stems from the first time parents were able to take us to the seaside, New Brighton by train. It was still wartime and I remember being frightened to death at four years old; standing on the platform as the black, stinky, noisy behemoth raced non-stop through the station.

My Dad used to model O gauge trams in England.
Then moved on to 1:24 scale narrow gauge (using O gauge track to simulate approx 2'6" when he moved down here.
He could then model anything from 2' to 3'6" without looking too ridiculous.

The scale was easy to build and fit power to, but hard to model well. My Dad liked to cut corners a bit and never got to the kind of tidy build I see in that pub and never went into too much detailing.
He's only ever built a half dozen buildings. So no street scapes for us!

Sounds a similar vintage to you Ray - maybe a few years older. He was born in '33 and spent his formative years during the War!
