Default Puddle lights

Don't seem to work on the drivers side front and rear!
All other interior lights are fine. Even the centre interior light when drivers door is opened. Any ideas?

Is it a single fuse for that side? Or maybe just that they've been used more often and the bulbs have blown.

The fuse box has never seen so much action!
I will swap bulbs with the otherside tomorrow and report.

does the lights work in the footwell? Also the light in the rear of the door (the red one) do they work? I suspect not.

Update:

Only one door fully works (passenger side rear) both red and puddle light are fine.

- All other door red light and puddle lights do not.
- Both front footwell lights do not work either (there aren't any in the back are there?!)
- The Lights on Buzzer does not work either.
- The dashboard indicator that a door is open WORKS and shuts off when doors are closed.

Next stage - check the bulbs with the working set, but I get the impression there is something else wrong here judging by peoples response. Fuse?

I think a comprehensive review of my fuse box is in order anyway....

If your lights on buzzer doesn't work either I suspect it is the door contact switch that is at fault. On the front doors the switch has 2 contacts, from memory one contact does the door open indicator and the courtesy light, the other the puddle lights and lights on buzzer. I'm not sure about the rear ones.

The door contact switches are part of the door catch. Theoretically they can be changed without changing the entire door catch but I don't think they are listed as seperate items. Either way it is a complete door dismantle to get to

I was thinking contact switches as mine sometimes work but mostly not. It's something i've not worried about, especially as i didn't want to strip the door.

I'd go with Graynada and say contact switches
