ABS/ESP lights

Hi guys! Newbie here! Posted my greeting in intros. Just thought I'd pass on some of my findings, please note these are my findings that worked for me, it mmay not apply/work for your problems. When I first got the car ABS/ESP lights would come on for any reason, checked for solutions on here and elsewhere, most of my symptoms were common i.e. feeling ABS "chirp" through brakes/pedal at low speed,
etc, went through all the usual fixes, cleaned ABS sensors/connections, went through every solution bar changing ABS sensors, in the end I checked the brake light switch. I took it apart and found the contacts had heavy arcing on them, cleaned them up with small file and refitted the switch and the problem has never reappeared, so worth checking the brake light switch first. I have since fitted a new switch
