Default Swapped heating controls

Here's a weird problem, driving to work on Thursday noticed changing the heating controls that the car now thinks its left hand drive, ie changing seat temp for me it says passenger. From what I can make out its just the wording

Any ideas ? Now that I've noticed I'm not sure if it was always like that ????

Did you do an MMI update recently?

It needs recoded with VCDS to be told it's RHD... It's just the label that's wrong. Mine did the same.

Resurrecting an old thread but mine has done this since I bought it (I assume at some stage the HVAC control unit was replaced). Any adjustments to the drivers side say 'passenger' and vice versa. The arrow points the right way and the adjustments work on the right side, it is just the 'Driver' and 'Passenger' titles that are wrong.
I have VCDS, where can I look to swap these round?

Thanks!

Michael

This can be changed from the MMI

Go to the MMI hidden menu (car+setup)

Go to Diag Settings > Car Menus Maske

Uncheck Linkslenker (this is the setting for left hand drive vehicles)

Restart the MMI

Climate control should be back to the settings for a right hand drive car now!

Tried this method as it seemed far simpler and it worked a treat - many thanks. I didn't even need to restart the MMI as there was a 'Save and accept changes' option at the bottom of the list.

Now my Driver & Passenger labels are perfect. Thanks again. Can't believe how long I left it before asking you experts. I feel like I've fixed something!
