Morning all
Now I have sorted the AMI I want to hard wire my "safety" camera alert unit.

I know these are normally run from the ciggie socket (currently is) but I hate the look of wires and not being able to close the damn flap on the ashtray!
I need to source a live feed (ignition on) on the drivers side. I know one of the fuse boxes is housed on the dash side. But wondered if anyone else had done similar before I look further. I normally tap in a simple dummy fused ciggie socket hidden away under the dash and hide the feed wire up the side of the dash as this unit sits in the top corner of the dash and I can easily reach it to adjust volumes etc.

Any ideas much appreciated
